Jerky Questions

What does Private Label Jerky mean?
Private Labeling is a concept that has been growing for years. We offer the jerky privately labeled in the package size and flavor with your customized message including YOUR name and/or logo.

Where is the jerky made?
All of our products are made from meat and poultry here in the USA (no imported meat products). Our processing facility is located in Michigan.

How fresh is the jerky?
Our jerky is made fresh on a daily basis.

Why is the jerky healthy?
As shown on our homepage, jerky is a high protein snack which helps build muscle tissue. It's low in fat and calories so it makes for a great snack and is good for folks who are dieting.

Do you offer any organic jerky?
Currently, we don't offer an organic jerky alternative. However, our products have no chemicals in them nor do we use Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) in our products. We encourage you to check out our Nutritional Facts information on the "Our Products" page of our website.

How should I care for the jerky?
Keep the jerky in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.

How long is the jerky good for?
We have a 1 year 'Use By' date for the jerky.

Is the turkey jerky all turkey?
Yes, our turkey strips are 100% turkey.

How many pieces of jerky come in the package?
It all depends on the size of the package. We use the small, medium or large terminology and the weights are .8 oz, 1.75 oz. and 3.25 oz.

Label Questions

How big is the label?
The dimensions are 4" x 4". However, the Nutritional Facts take up a 1" x 4" portion of the label on the right side leaving a 3" x 4" "Portrait" configured label remaining for your customization.

What is the resolution of the printing?
The labels are of photo quality at 600 dpi resolution.

How should I configure my artwork?
You may send us '.ai', ".eps", ".psd", ".tif", "bmp", or ".jpg" (jpg files are not recommended, but may work). Also, it helps if the graphic is saved from the native artwork as 600 dpi and has been saved with anti-aliasing turned or checked off.

Why do you not recommend a .jpg file?
The reason we don't recommend .jpg files is because the resolution is usually to low. We will do our best with the artwork you provide us.

How glossy is the label on the jerky?
The label has a semi-gloss finish.

How do I send you the graphic file?
If you decide to have us make your label using your graphic, you may send it to us at sales@privatelabeljerky.com. We will then configure the label and ask you to approve the label for us.

Ordering/Shipping Questions

How do I pay for my order?
There is a link on the web site to pay using PayPal.

How long will it take to get the jerky?
From the time you order and once you're happy with your label (if you ordered a custom label), our orders currently ship on Friday, so you should have the jerky the following week. We ship via UPS.

Can I pay with a Purchase Order?
Currently we do not accept Purchase Orders. However, we do accept all forms of credit card payments through PayPal.

Do you have the nutritional information for the jerky?
Yes, it's found on our website on the "Our Products" page, we encourage our customers to check them out.

Do you offer different types of packaging?
Currently we offer the clear packaging.
